Over the course for the 2 terms, we have been working on the first-ever film festival. We all had made a short film based on the west coast. Today we went and watched all of the films that were selected. Sadly my group’s film was not selected but that was ok. In the end, I really didn’t want mine to be shown in front of everyone. It was super cool seeing what everyone else had created, We watched them all and it was fun. In some of the films it was kinda hard to hear, Maybe that we because of the things they filmed with. I don’t know. People videos were shown from all over Greymouth. Schools like Greymain, Karroro and Paparoa range. They were all so cool. There was so many videos and different ideas that it would have been hard to judge if there was a winner. I think that it would have been cooler if more schools had made an effort to show up as only Paora, Greymain and Kumara showed up.
Overall it was pretty cool and next year it will be better.
